July 4-10 Online Orders benefit Richmond Revolution

Beginning Saturday, July 4 at 12:01 a.m. through Friday, July 10 at 11:59 p.m., Catahoula Coffee Company will donate 20% of our online coffee profits to Richmond Revolution. Richmond Revolution is a new community organization based in Richmond that represents all of Contra Costa County, embodying “the idea of grasping things at the root when dealing with issues impacting the Black community.”

At Catahoula Coffee we try to focus on giving our cafe customers the perfect cup of coffee and our coffee bean customers the perfect beans. But at this time in our country, we have decided that it is important to do more to support our community. So much of our nation’s history is tied to the oppression of Black and Brown people, and reflecting on that, we figured that the Fourth of July is a perfect time to give to a group working on these issues right here in our backyard!

Realistically, we are a small company, and our ability to stay afloat during the pandemic has been stretched beyond where we thought it could be stretched. We know that this donation is only a first step along the way but we hope that it can bring awareness and support to Richmond Revolution and to issues that are at the forefront across our whole country during this time.

Our coffees can be purchased here.
